The Memorial Doors Project The Memorial Doors Project is a collaboration between the artist and activist Domenic Esposito, the Opioid Spoon Project, and families who have lost a loved one to the opioid epidemic. The Memorial, consisting of eight narrative bronze panels set into a large-scale public sculpture, is meant to be a powerful remembrance of those who have lost their lives in their battle with opioid addiction. The Memorial Doors Project will tell the story, and forever memorialize in bronze, these seemingly unimportant yet treasured moments in a life cut short by an overdose. Newton-Wellesley Community Collaborative The Newton-Wellesley Community Collaborative provides local support to address and help prevent socio-medical issues that face our communities. Our efforts to help community residents stay healthy include raising awareness of health issues, advocating for change to improve health, offering prevention programs and providing additional treatment resources. The Phoenix The Phoenix's mission is to build a sober active community that fuels resilience and harnesses the transformational power of connection so that together we rise, recover, and live. The Phoenix offers in person and live streamed classes. Road to the Right Track The RRT (Road to the Right Track) is a track program for Allston Brighton Youth. They coordinate weekly practices that include stretching, dynamic warm-ups, distance work-outs and sprint work-outs. Trail Animals Running Club The Trail Animals Running Club is a nonprofit running club in the Boston area that acts as community stewards by providing equitable access to trail running and promoting positive trail running culture. TriChi Walk & Run A certified Chi Running/Chi Walking instructor, Michael’s mission is to introduce pain free running & walking with less effort to persons of all ages and abilities. Michael brings his passion and personal running experience to those in search of a new beginning with the goal of a joyful, holistic and lifelong practice.
